After running into some issues leaving Basra, I finally made it to the airport via a taxi and I was surprised that I was forced to get into another taxi that took me from the airport entry to the terminal. Is this considered normal to have to pay that? The guy also said it costs 30,000 IQD to take the airport 5 minute taxi. But the problem was I literally had no more cash. besides 19,000 IQD since I was leaving Iraq I tipped my first taxi driver who dropped me off at the airport. So after saying that is all the cash I had, they gave me the slip that said it is 20,000 IQD so they tried to scam for an extra 10,000 on an already overpriced 5 minute taxi ride. Comment if this is normal?
