DIY Vitamin C Serum, Cheap and easy skin care potions

I'm in my mid 40s and have been seeing some hyperpigmentation (dark spots) developing on my face. Commercially available vitamin C serums are very expensive and go bad quickly. So I have been making my own out of inexpensive vitamin C powder, rose water, glycerin, and aloe vera. Since it does not contain preservatives, I make a small amount every 2 weeks.

This video was inspired by Lab Muffin Beauty's Video on the same topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JXu3_WHM08
I have tweaked the ingredients to better suit my needs.

Recipe (Makes about 15ml or 1/2 fluid ounce):
1.5g Ascorbic Acid (1 teaspoon)
15 ml Rose Water (1 Tablespoon)
1.25 ml Vegetable Glycerin (1/4 teaspoon)
1.25 ml Aloe Vera Gel (1/4 teaspoon)
About 0.25 g Baking Soda (1/16 teaspoon) - adjust until the Ph of the finished product is about 3.5
