Late Night with Dr. Ria Liza featuring Upclose and Personal with Ms. Marge Dela Cruz-Gomez. She paints for exhibits and creates props for events and parties. She was an English teacher for 14 years. She and her husband, Ernie “ErGo” Gomez run Gallery ErGo together in Pinsao Proper, Baguio City. She was recently appointed to be a member of the Baguio Creative Council. She is a self-taught artist and a Mass Communication-Journalism graduate from University of the Philippines Baguio. She loves painting and making handicrafts. She uses eggshells in her paintings and recycles styrofoam in her crafts and sculpture as her simple way of recycling. She would often keep “basura” and transform them into functional art.
Her paintings often depict life’s little happy moments. Her kids, friends and students often inspire her. She is a clairvoyant painter, some of her paintings predicted future events.
