Can Tesla Produce 50 Million Vehicles a Year by 2030?

50 million vehicles a year? That's crazy, its 5 times more than any other manufacturer is doing today. And Tesla is a prestige luxury brand, there simply aren't enough people in the world who could afford it?

Well I have a model that shows otherwise, and that it might be very possible that Tesla could achieve these numbers, and may also hit the the 20 million vehicles a year mark a lot earlier than everyone is expecting too.

Of course Tesla's Model 2 will be the contributing car to achieve these numbers, as it will be the most coveted product on the planet. And when you factor in all the cost savings when compared to a traditional ICE car, well it becomes arguable the cheapest form of transport in the world. Electric vehicles (EVs) are clearly the future now. Everyone knows it, even governments, legacy autos and oil companies. They might not just realize and be aware of earlier this future might come.

Tesla are going to dominate EVs, no one else will be able to ramp up as fast as they can, as Tesla will control the majority of the world's battery supply. He who controls the battery supply, controls transportation.
