Booster dose required to maintain fully vaccinated status

From 14 February 2022, persons aged 18 years and above who have completed the primary vaccination series of COVID-19 vaccines (and are eligible for booster vaccination) will be considered as fully vaccinated for 9 months (or 270 days) after the last dose in their primary vaccination series.

They should receive their booster vaccination from about 5 months after their last primary dose, and no later than 9 months thereafter.

Upon receiving their booster, they will continue to be deemed fully vaccinated beyond 9 months.

Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung was speaking at the Multi-Ministry Taskforce press conference on 5 January 2022.
