Disclaimer: THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN PERFORMED BY A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER, ON CLOSED COURSES. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HOME, OR ON PUBLIC ROADS.
I'm on one of my favorite servers called "Impulse99" that features a ton of things to do, such as Racing, Player Vs. Player (PvP), Role-Play (RP), Trucking and much, much more! Here today, I've taken four random vehicles out on four random tracks and tested my skills to see how fast I could get-round each course without a penalty. The name of this method is called "Car Roulette" and it's to try to make the driver as acquainted with all of the different makes, models, and handling characteristics the vehicle(s) in their garage may have, to grasp a better idea overall for their driving technique as a professional driver, as a whole. So, I try my hardest to keep a decent racing line, attempting to show just how in-depth the experience can be here, if you actually concentrate and try to obtain a decent flow. It's not on par with Forza, Gran Turismo, or Assetto Corsa level's of realism, it's very obvious still GTA, with the de-sync and lag issues that hold it back from being an actual racing game. However, Impulse99 makes it as fun as GTA Racing is ever going to get; That is, unless you go to the other form fitting racing server that seems to have taken over FiveM, another one of my favorites, Hashiriya which I'll be making a video on eventually.
