Gerald Rochelle Doing Philosophy Philosophy with Strangers Out of Doors

Aristotle believed in walking and talking—peripatȇtikos. Walking, meeting strangers and engaging with them about their lives is a rewarding way of doing practical philosophy. Doing this out of doors can be especially delightful. Meeting strangers and getting to know about their worlds can be especially rewarding when a particular occasion arises. Halloween takes us ‘out of ourselves’ and so can make us more available to others. This part of this video was a particularly delightful experience.
