16-Year-Old Bedridden By Paralysis Attack Yearns For A Normal Life

Pooja, a young and enthusiastic teenager, has been left bedridden due to Paraplegia. She had to drop out of school because it took away her ability to perform any day-to-day activity. The 16-year-old has lost voluntary muscle function in her body as a result of damage to the nervous system caused by her paralytic attack. Pooja's lower body is completely dysfunctional and she is unable to sit, stand or even eat on her own.
