These Asus Zephyrus G14 series of laptops run on the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 H-Series of processors based on the new AMD Zen 3 architecture. A key feature of the new Zen 3 architecture is the new "unified complex" design that can hold twice the data as a traditional split L3 cache. This reduces the latency between the cores and can benefit latency-sensitive tasks such as gaming.
Running on Ryzen 7 5800HS (Zephyrus G14 GA401QH-BM072TS) and the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS (Zephyrus G14 GA401QM-K2268TS), these new processors from AMD offer up to 8 cores and 16 threads. While both laptops offer a 14-inch panel, The Ryzen 7-powered laptop packs an FHD resolution, while the Ryzen 9-powered device offers a QHD resolution. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS powered laptop packs an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 dedicated GPU, while the beefier AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS variant runs on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 dedicated GPU. Both these laptops come with a magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis with honeycomb reinforcement to keep things light, yet durable. They also come with a self-cleaning cooling system that prevents dust build-up. It also features 84-blade dual Arc Flow fans to keep things cool. In terms of connectivity, users get an HDMI 2.0b port, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports.
