Growing Number of Black Women Becoming Gun Owners

“BNC Live” welcomes Antonia Okafor, the director of outreach and national spokesperson for Gun Owners of America, to talk about why more Black women are becoming gun owners.

Okafor reacts to more Black women becoming gun owners and says it’s emotional because as a sexual assault survivor, having gun ownership has been very beneficial to her life. Okafor believes it is beautiful to see Black women taking their safety into their own hands in order to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Okafor who hails from Texas reveals that she has a wide range of firearms in her possession ranging from handguns to rifles.
