I'm going to show you how to create a great basic vocal mix with just two simple plugins. I'm going to walk you through each plugin, showing you step by step what I'm doing and why I'm doing.
We'll start with EQ. I'll show you the 5 different "levers" that you can use to shape the sound of the vocal to get the tone you want. I'll be using a native FL Studio EQ plugin to do this step, using the Fruity Parametric EQ 2 plugin.
Next we'll cover compression. I'll show you a few ways that you can get great results in just a few steps. I'll show you how to mix it first with the Waves Renaissance, Rvox plugin, but then also show you how to do something similar with the Fruity Limiter plugin in FL Studio.
