In this video, I preview the talks around the fourth stimulus package, where the Senate just passed the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package. 19 Republicans joined 50 Democrats, and even though that's a lot, many Republicans were still opposed to the extra spending. I go over why some Republicans oppose the bill. I also discuss the $3.5 trillion bill Democrats hope to pass on a party line basis through reconciliation, what it includes, and why different members of Congress are for and against it. I also talk about the stimulus payments set to hit American bank accounts on Friday this week, as the second batch of child tax credit payments begin going out. For each child you have under the age of 6, you'll receive $300 . Then, for each kid you have ages 6 to 17 you should expect to receive $250. Finally, I touch base on rental assistance, where I go over the different programs available. I take you step by step on rental assistance programs, what the qualifications are, and the documents you'll need.
