Brigadier Ishaq Ahmed Khattak (retd) has had an illustrious career with Pakistan's Intelligence services, with specialization on Afghanistan. Coupled with his ancestral Puktoon background it has given him an extraordinary insight on Afghanistan from Global, Regional and Pakistan perspectives.
Based on a unique combination of on field and intellectual research based assignments, Mr. Ishaq as an analyst continues to be intellectually involved in National security issues. This is through association with two International think tanks and also participating in National and Global television and Radio programs.
Due to his unique analytical skills and being an eloquent speaker, he writes and is frequently invited to Global and National seminars and conferences.
Being a seeker of Alim (Knowledge), he is presently pursuing his MPhil in IR.
