Why do so many Fear Failure? #shorts - Shadé Zahrai

We’re almost wired to avoid failure. Why? Because it threatens our sense of belonging. ⁣

Let me explain…⁣

When you ‘fail’ at something, you’re often not even that concerned about the ‘failing’ part, and instead entirely concerned with these things:⁣

What will other people think of me?⁣
What if they think I’m dumb?⁣
What if they think I’m a fool?⁣
What if it ruins my reputation?⁣

It’s all outwardly focussed… ego-driven… ⁣

Quite simply, it’s because we take ‘failure’ as a form of social rejection…⁣

And rejection hurts!⁣

But if you allow your fear of failure to hold you back, it’ll keep you stuck. ⁣
It’ll keep you frustrated & stagnant.⁣
It’ll keep you WISHING you could live the life you dream of, while convincing you that you’re not capable of it.⁣

In my latest video I share some of the most common reasons why you might fear failure, why that fear is is trying to protect you and keep you safe (it’s true!), and powerful mindset shifts to work through it so it doesn’t hold you back. ⁣

Because, if you don’t address it, it WILL sabotage your your relationship, your career progression & your happiness.⁣

So… What’s your relationship with FAILURE? 👇⁣
