The death toll from flash floods along the Black Sea region of Turkey rose to 27.
Turkey’s agriculture minister said that the region faced “a disaster that we had not seen in 50 or 100 years."
The floods came just as Turkey had managed to douse the wildfires that killed eight people and burned large areas of forest along the Mediterranean coast.
