New vehicle scrappage policy announced: Using older cars to become more expensive now

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched the Vehicle Scrappage Policy called Voluntary Vehicle Fleet Modernisation Programme that makes old cars an expensive affair for Indians. Passenger vehicles older than 15 and commercial vehicles older than 20 will be scrapped without question if they fail the fitness test. ET's Nehal Chaliawala with details. Watch
