In this video, we discuss the article that we discussed earlier today regarding guaranteed income for low income individuals. Guaranteed income is very similar to universal basic income or monthly stimulus checks. All of which are very very similar, but yet all have their differences. Guaranteed income would be a monthly cash payments for low income individuals with no strings attached, meanwhile Monthly stimulus checks are very similar and universal basic income also sent out monthly cash payments to every citizen.This article that we are talking about in this video is the second portion which discusses what the program is and what it is not, it is not a universal basic income program, but rather it is a guaranteed income program which would be giving low income individuals a monthly check in the amount of between $501,000 per month with no strings attached.This could also be determined as a stimulus check, or monthly stimulus check even though it is not categorize that way but very similar in nature.
