Make Believe by Wind performed on ukulele by Barry Prudhomme

Make Believe was a one hit wonder recorded at Allegro Sound Studios, New York City in 1969 by a group of studio musicians. It was written by Bo Gentry (co-writer of 1910 Fruitgum Company's "Indian Giver") and Joey Levine (lead singer on Ohio Express' "Yummy Yummy Yummy"). They were both part of the studio musicians, along with Chip Taylor (a pseudonym for James Voight, brother of actor Jon Voight, and songwriter of "Wild Thing" and "Angel of the Morning"), and the lead singer for this song was Tony Orlando (before Dawn).

I have just rediscovered it on Serius XM's 60's on 6 played by Phlash Phelps and his wonderful DJ cohorts again.

I hope you enjoy this instrumental version.
Barry
