We're currently developing a Euclidean sequencer, and while we were testing it this patch was born.
The rhythm of the main melody is generated by the Euclidean sequencer. A 16 step analogue sequencer is modulating the fill input, so for the first 8 beats it's just a standard Euclidean rhythm, but in the second 8 beats some variation is added by increasing the fill on each step.
Pitch for the melody is generated using the Turing Machine. Samples are added from Radio Music. I love Music Thing modules - every rack should have these two!
The bassline has 8 sequenced pitches and a separate rhythm generated by Bastl Knit Rider.
Our switches module is used as a simple dry-wet switch for Clouds, our triple buffer is used to multiply some of the gate sequences (especially useful as they add nice blinking LEDs to show what's going on) and just out of the shot one of our mixers is handling the percussion.
The Euclidean sequencer is in the final stages of testing and should be available soon!
